Welcome to Atrium Health Centre

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Your Mind, Your Say

Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) would like to know your views about how mental health services for young people are run in Dorset and how they can be made better.

If you would like to complete the survey and share your opinion and experiences, please click here.

Closing date is Friday 28th February 2020.

The GP Patient Survey

The GP patient survey is out!  It may well have dropped on your doormat already.  Only a small percentage of our patients will receive a survey, therefore every response counts.  If you have received one we would really appreciate it if you could take the time to complete the questionnaire.  We know there are a lot of questions but your responses will help us to understand how you feel about us and the services we are delivering.

When the results are published we review these and look at areas where we need to improve.  Last year we looked at questions where we felt that our scores should have been higher and spoke to staff to see how they thought we could do better.  Due to this we did some training with our reception team on signposting patients to the best appointment available, did lots of promotion around self-referral to services such as Live Well Dorset, initiated a new recall system for annual reviews and now have a social prescriber in the practice who helps out patients to find local support groups and assistance.

We hope that you have noticed these improvements we have made and that this will be reflected in your responses.  We understand that we still have some way to go and if you are disappointed with any part of our service please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to see if we can resolve the problem first.

Thank you in advance.

The team at the Atrium Health Centre and Crossways Surgery.

Electronic Prescription Service

We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 29th January 2020.

Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money.

You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now.
