Accessibility

Car Parking

There is a public pay and display car park (Fairfield Car Park) opposite the Atrium Health Centre and also some limited on-street parking on the main road which is also pay and display.

Click here for information from Dorset Council regarding car parks.

At Crossways Surgery there is a free car park on site.

Public Transport

There is a bus stop outside both surgeries if you require public transport.

In Dorchester there are two train stations called Dorchester South (the nearest) and Dorchester West.

Disabled Access

We make every effort to make the surgery accessible for disabled patients. There is access through the main doors of each site and at Atrium Health Centre we have a wheelchair available for use in surgery and there is also a lift available.

Hearing Difficulties

If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or nurse, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.

Guide Dogs

Guide dogs are welcome at the surgery but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs.
